Click is a small boutique sitting on the quieter end of bustling Southport Avenue, selling clothes such as a grey sweater with a white skull on the back of it and a silky black blouse with small white polka dots. And don’t forget the locally made jewelry and shoes made for Chicago’s harsh winters, a long day at the office or Sunday brunch. The store has been in business for nine years, appealing to a variety of customers.Click boots - web

Owner Paula Eisen used to organize singles events, and having four daughters who always wanted to borrow her clothes, she decided it was best to have her own closet. Still, Eisen wanted to work with people, and Click enables her to do just that, all while providing customers with an environment that helps them feel beautiful and confident when they leave the store.

Eisen says a wide range of ages shop at Click, and it’s the variety of apparel, reasonable prices and, especially, the customer service that keep shoppers coming back. “We only hire very outgoing people, and you can hear our manager from across the street,” Eisen says. “She tries to remember everyone’s names.”

“We are very community oriented, very honest,” Eisen continues, “and we want customers to look the best they can.”
